Welcome to my world of photography! My name is Dimitrios Samaras, and I am proud to call Elassona, Greece, my home and the canvas for my art.

With an insatiable passion for capturing genuine moments and emotions, I’ve been immersed in the world of photography since I was young. It’s not just a profession for me; it’s a lifelong dedication that runs deep in my family’s roots.

My journey began over two decades ago, honing my craft in various facets of photography, including weddings, family portraits, children, commercial projects, and lifestyle shoots. Each click of the shutter is an opportunity to freeze time and immortalize the beauty of the moment.

Photography is in my blood. My grandfather, Dimitris Sioumaras, laid the foundation in 1934 when he first picked up a camera in the streets of Elassona. Following in his footsteps, my father, Konstantinos Samaras, along with my uncle Fotis Samaras, carried on the legacy, establishing the first photography studio in our city.

From the tender age of youth, I was mentored by my father, learning the artistry and technicalities of photography firsthand. Now, with over a decade of running my own photography studio since 2012, I continue to uphold the tradition of excellence set forth by my predecessors.
